11th Hour - Jazz Band Phoenix
Meet our family of players:
Brad -Vocals, Guitar, Emcee After many years of performing in the balmy trade winds of Maui, Brad finally had it “up-to-here” with the grass skirt thing—the grass was constantly tangled in the strings. Brad’s unique renditions of popular tunes and his many impersonations including Satchmo, Ed Sullivan, Jerry Lewis, Dean Martin, Donald Duck, Elvis and more provide for an evening of laughs and entertainment. Doug M - Tenor/Alto/Soprano Sax, Keyboard Never an idle moment on his side of the stage, whether changing horns, doing a keyboard fill or scratching a Latin beat Doug is always moving. The rumor is that when he removes his shoes and begins to jump around the sound from his horns gets sexier & SEXIER. Doug H - Trumpet, Percussion, Keyboard In this case the H stands for H-BOMB; when Doug puts lips to mouthpiece lookout—I mean lookout in neighboring cities and states. Before joining 11th HOUR, Doug worked in many bands around the greater Phoenix area and also is on call for the armed forces in case the entire 5th Army needs a wake-up call Pete - Bass, Sound System His priority for detail, getting it just right every time, is what makes Pete and invaluable member of the rhythm section. His bass line is peppered with tasty fills. Pete’s background in the recording studio is the basis for taking on the “Sound Man” job in our group - more than volume, Pete knows a good audio set-up enhances the overall ambiance. JimmyV- Drums, Percussion There is always one question that comes to mind when one thinks about JimmyV. How does he get that 6 foot 11 inch muscular frame behind those teeny drums? JimmyV is originally from the East Coast - greater metropolitan New York - Hey, you gotta problem widdat? For Additional Information Visit Our Website At
