Welcome to Manhattan Jazz Events. We are a specialty service featuring New York City's top jazz instrumentalists and vocalists to play at your event. What makes Manhattan Jazz Events different from other music planning services is the fact that you, the client, can choose exactly the right group and sound for your particular event. We offer over 40 different instrumental combinations and vocalists, from solo piano to a full 16 piece big band. Manhattan Jazz Events was founded by one of New York City's busiest jazz bassists, Neal Miner. Neal has performed, appeared in major motion pictures, toured internationally, and recorded with top jazz stars such as Wynton Marsalis, Jane Monheit, and Nora Jones; jazz legends such as Jon Hendricks, Annie Ross and James Moody; as well as fashion celebrity and TV personality Isaac Mizrahi.

With his 15 years of playing experience on the New York City jazz scene, Neal has carefully selected the best players to complement your event with swing, elegance and, most of all, professionalism. He will take pride and care in planning jazz of the highest level for your special occasion.

Our repertoire is broad — our musicians can play any song from the jazz genre, the American popular songbook, and bossa nova favorites. Requests are always honored -- and welcomed!

We offer complimentary demonstration CDs featuring all of our instrumental groups and vocalists; as well as DVDs that showcase some of our more requested groups. If you are interested in having a copy of either a CD or DVD, please contact us and we will rush one out to you.
