Throughout the years, she has performed regularly at many restaurants in the LA area, including Cayenne, Moun of Tunis, Maroush, Uptown Kabob, Burger Continental, and Papa Cristo's. Shaunti is experienced in sword dancing, cane (saidi), candelabra (traditional for weddings), veil, isis wings, and finger cymbals (zills or zagat).

Shaunti has been a student of dance since young childhood. In addition to bellydance, she has trained in ballet, jazz, modern, African, and Balinese dance. Her diverse knowledge has enriched her individual dance style by creating a dynamic quality of movement, packed full of variety, technique, and expression.

Shaunti began performing bellydance in 1999. In addition to being an adept soloist, she also has extensive experience performing with dance companies, including The Flowers of the Desert, Adam Basma Dance Company, Lumina Dance Company, and the Ghazella Dance Company.
