Mariyah is an award-winning professional bellydancer and sought after performer of oriental dance in the New York area. She is known for her grace and engaging presence on stage and has performed for hundreds of parties, weddings, festivals and corporate events as well as keeping a regular performance schedule at Middle- Eastern nightclubs and restaurants in New York and New Jersey.

Mariyah is a member of the Dalia Carella Dance Collective and has performed in several off-Broaway productions with the company, including the 2004 production of "In Search of a Goddess" at the Duke Theater. She is also the co-creator of and featured on the dvd "Chakra Dance Flow."

Performance specialties include props such as wings, swords, candle tray, cane, candelabra, or fans.

Mini Bellydance Show 7-15 minutes
A brief performance usually as a surprise for the guest(s) of honor at a party. The dancer(s) will perform for 2-3 songs, get the guests up dancing and pose for pictures with the guest(s) of honor. This show usually runs

Classic Bellydance Show 20-40 minutes
A full classic belly dance routine. The dancer(s) will play finger cymbals, use either a veil or wings, and perform a specialty balancing piece with either sword or tray of candles. This show will also include time for getting the guests at the party up to dance.

Bellydance Group Show 15-45 minutes
Hire a group of two or more dancers to perform at your event! This entertainment package will may include a variety of group and solo numbers as well as plenty of time for audience participation and open dancing. Mariyah will provide beautiful, top NYC peformers for your event.

Bellydance Show and Mini Lesson 30-60 minutes
A combination of a belly dance performance and fun mini lesson to get your guests up and show them a few moves! Mariyah will bring hip scarves for the guests to wear during the lesson. Great fun for any party, but especially perfect for sweet sixteens, bridal and baby showers.
